Core Belief Healing

Core Beliefs Determine the Quality of Our Lives
Core beliefs are entrenched beliefs that we may or may not know that we hold. Some core beliefs are positive and these attract positive life experiences. Some core beliefs are negative and these attract negative life situations. Some core beliefs can be the exact opposite of others – resulting in inner conflicts, procrastination, dilemmas or feeling stuck between two equally unacceptable alternatives. The quality of our core beliefs directly affects the quality of our life – we cannot have a life with love, wealth and health if our core beliefs support abandonment, poverty and illness!
You Have Negative Core Beliefs When
It is easy to determine if you have negative core beliefs, even if you are not aware of them. Look at your life – whatever in your life is not EXACTLY the way you want it, is most certainly being determined by a negative core belief. If your marriage is unhappy, it is because there is a belief that marriage or relationships hurt or disappoint. If your job is dissatisfying, it is because there is a belief or beliefs that you will be underpaid, unappreciated or that work is a misery to be endured. If your employer mistreats you, it is because of a belief that says you will be mistreated in some way by employers. Negative core beliefs advertise themselves blatantly in our life experiences: whatever is not working to our satisfaction, probably is working to the pattern dictated by a negative belief.
Core Beliefs CAN Be Changed
The good news is, negative core beliefs can be eliminated or changed into positive ones quickly and with minimal pain. The results may be felt immediately as life reflects the inner changes – more positive interactions with others, more opportunities open up and other beneficial results begin to happen. Sometimes changes happen over subsequent months as life re-arranges itself to match the new, life-enhancing core beliefs. It only makes sense: since our core beliefs determine the quality of our lives, changing the quality of those beliefs from self-defeating to self-supportive has to bring about far reaching positive changes!
Marelon successfully uses Emotional Freedom Technique(EFT), and a derivative form of EFT called The Choices Method, extensively in her practice to help people change self-defeating core beliefs into positive, life-enhancing beliefs. This may be done as a deliberate focus on healing unhealthy core beliefs, or it may be worked into sessions that focus on emotional problems. Either way, nothing is more effective than EFT for creating dramatic shifts in core beliefs – and in life!
